A Reconciliation Story

For First Nation's Reconciliation Week I put together a short introduction to the wonderful work of Dr. Charles Duguid and the establishing of Ernabella Mission. To use contemporary language, it was a Black Lives Matter kind of moment. The preservation of language and customs has played a vital role in the modern history of the Pitjantjatjara/Yankunytjatjara people as they faced the encroachment of white colonialism and Darwinian philosophies in regard to tribal people.
